MASTER THE GREAT HEIGHTS AND TRAVEL THROUGH ANCESTRAL CAVES
Fly to the Kamarata Valley to immerse yourself in the ancestral heart of Canaima and explore the Kavak Cave. Walk through jungle and savanna, swim in crystal-clear pools, and explore a hidden waterfall deep within a cave. The journey includes a scenic flight over Angel Falls. It’s a mystical and intimate experience, ideal for those looking to discover a hidden gem of Canaima.
From Wakü, we’ll escort you to the airport where our airline partners await you to board the designated aircraft. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes, soaring over the majestic Auyantepuy and Angel Falls en route to the Kamarata Valley, home to the Indigenous community of the same name.
From there, local guides will lead you on a journey through savanna, rainforest, and pristine pools toward the breathtaking Kavak Cave. To enter, you’ll float through a narrow canyon supported by a rope and assisted by an expert, passing through a natural pool formed by ancient rocks. At the end of the trail, you’ll be amazed by a hidden waterfall, illuminated by rays of light streaming through the cracks: an unparalleled natural spectacle.
After lunch and time shared with the local community, we return to Wakü Lodge.
This experience is offered in partnership with Kavak Lodge and the Civil Association of the Indigenous Community of Kanaimö. A mandatory cash contribution of USD 20 per person is required and paid directly to the Association. This supports local development and the conservation of this valuable natural heritage.
