COOL OFF IN A NATURAL POOL AFTER A JUNGLE TRAIL WALK
Immerse yourself in a natural oasis within the jungle. Walk among trees, palm groves, and streams until you discover a small, refreshing waterfall cascading into a blue pool, whose color is enhanced by the sunlight. A peaceful and revitalizing experience perfect for those looking to disconnect and relax in the calm of nature.
We depart from Wakü Lodge and head by vehicle to Ucaima Port, where curiaras (indigenous motorized canoes) await. We’ll navigate the Carrao River, surrounded by vast savannas and lush gallery forests. Weather permitting, you may see tepuis such as Nonoi, Kurún, Kusary, Kuravaina, Topochi, and Auyantepuy.
We then enter the Moroko canal, a narrow and serene branch of the river, ideal for spotting the tree of life, the native "Kuai" moriche palm, and a variety of bird species. After about 10 minutes of sailing, we disembark to begin a 30-minute hike to Pozo Azul, a serene spot of blue waters where we can enjoy a revitalizing swim.
We then begin the hike back to the lodge.
