“I arrived in Canaima alongside my father, who found his place in the world here. Since then, this generous jungle has taught me to listen, to understand, and to care for it.
Wakü was born from that intimate bond with nature and the spirit of this place. It is my way of honoring what was given to me: a purpose, a home, a community. It is also the result of the ongoing work of a team that believes in conscious and respectful tourism.
I am deeply grateful to the pemón people for their wisdom, and to every traveler who arrives with the openness to be transformed. You are the ones who give meaning to our mission, motivating us to continue caring for and sharing this unique corner of the world.”
